One route, two resorts
The itinerary mirrors what a real client trip looks like: land in Panama City, play with the skyline behind you, then move to the beach.
Panama City
A luxury urban resort with its own golf club, minutes from the historic quarter and the Canal.
Home base for the first two nights, with a VIP Canal tour and a round at Santa Maria Golf Club.
Pacific coast
An Autograph Collection beach resort with a Nicklaus design course, two hours from the city.
Two rounds here, including a tournament day, plus the full companion programme.
The itinerary
Golfers and companions travel together. Where the programmes split, both are covered.
1:30 pm arrival transfers to The Santa Maria Hotel. 7:00 pm dinner at The Grill House FSH & STK.
Overnight: The Santa Maria Hotel & Golf Resort, Panama City.
7:45 am VIP Canal tour. 11:30 am lunch at Hoyo 19 Terrace. 12:40 pm golf at Santa Maria Golf Club.
7:30 pm dinner at AMMI, Casco Viejo (not included).
8:00 am departure, 10:30 am arrival. 11:30 am golf at Buenaventura Golf Club with lunch delivered to the course. 7:30 pm dinner at Tai Kai Sushi & Martini.
Companions: check in, spa treatments and a ceviche cooking class, then chocolate workshop, pickleball, horseback riding on the beach or pool cabanas. Some options need prior reservation.
8:00 am tournament round at Buenaventura Golf Club. 1:00 pm lunch at El Faro Beach Club. 6:30 pm sunset BBQ at Dunas Beach Club.
Companions: coastal boat cruise and snorkeling, fishing excursion or wellness morning, then leisure until sunset drinks with the group. Options are a la carte.
8:00 am check out and transportation to the airport.
The companion programme
A golf itinerary becomes a hard sell the moment the companion feels like an afterthought.
Here the non golfer has a real programme, not a pool chair. On arrival, companions pre select from a menu of experiences.
